Water Colour Paintings: Colour Palette
We were given several models during class to create still-life paintings using water colour. Above is the Sentinel from The Matrix, followed by Emperor Zurg (Toy Story), a wooden model and a pterodactyl, respectively.

Art Research: Derrick “Madreal” Hodgson
Each student was assigned specific artists to draw inspiration from. Derrick “Madreal” Hodgson was who I got, and above is what I was able to come up with after doing research on his art work.
I started off by sketching different types of animals, using nonlinear strokes as I noticed in most, if not all of Hodgson’s drawings.
After importing my sketch into Adobe Illustrator, I started off by creating a background layer using blotches of pastel colours. After that, I used the pen tool and began tracing some of the animals I liked. I coloured them in, and duplicated each one to create and fill the completed collage.
Above* is a sample of Derrick Hodgson’s actual work, which also served as my reference.

Draw a Bunny
In a span of 5 or so minutes, the class was instructed, using the given paper and a drawing instrument, to create a bunny. Some interesting drawings. Mine is the one pictured below.
